October 5th is the day The King of Uruk will be available.
Here is a quick synopsis of the story:
The King of Uruk takes The Epic of Gilgamesh through the looking glass and directly west.
Gil is the iron-toting, undisputed king of Uruk. His rise to power is fast and violent, but he’s quickly bored by the lack of challenge. He grows cruel and complacent until a wild man from the desert arrives and puts his strength to the test.
This is the first of a series of four novellas I have planned. N.S. David is already reading a copy of the second story and planning the next cover.
For the moment it will be an ebook release only, but you’ll be able to find it on IBooks, Amazon Kindle, Nook, and a dozen other ereaders.
Here’s a look at an earlier version of the cover. I’ll post the new one again so that you can compare the two. I loved the color scheme in both, but I thought Gil needed to look a bit tougher for the final version.
